Our parents always said to us " You kids grew up so fast." Jim and I are realizing this more and more with our boys.  Our Logan is about to turn six and go into grade one. He is racing around on his first  2 wheel scooter in "metal color" ( just as he asked for)  and just received his first batman belt and buckle. Last night Logan lost his first tooth, much to our surprise.  It's probably the last thing we expected.
 Actually I  looked at Jim and didn't know if I should laugh or cry. He is such a big boy.  Our first,  a big brother, helper and ultimate sweetheart.

He was a little scared, and then very excited as he realized it was only one more step to becoming an even bigger boy. He put it under his pillow and wrote the cutest note, saying

 TO:TOOTH-FAIRY, I JUST LOST MY FIRST TOOTH, I AM NOW A BIG BOY! FROM:LOGAN

He came bounding in our room this morning with a  shinny new Toonie!
Way to go Logan!

Our latest adventures included the Calgary Zoo and Royal Tyrrell museum.

Ethan would have spent the night if we let him.. he just loved it here!!! In the last picture Ethan is showing us his dinosaur face...

" Aunty Amanda's House is the Best!"...Why, because she has a pool, a dog, net flix, she makes waffles everyday... (Did I mention they are heart shaped)  Ethan's Fav!!!
It also has Aunty Amanda... who seems to be the best ever!! I can't even name all the reasons the boys have, but every time we come home, they just count down the days till we see her again..Literally..
on the calendar with a big pink marker!!  But.. I do believe one of the biggest reasons is..  Aunty Amanda gave them Baby Tia and they all are so smitten with her.

Terry and Amanda, met us in Winnipeg, so all the kids  could meet both of their Great Grandpa's.

What a wonderful time they had meeting, snuggling and playing with them.

This is our stop at Hawk Lake. We bombarded Brian.. on his very quiet weekend.
We came of course the weekend Brian was just opening up the cabin, cleaning out the water systems and probably just trying to get away for some peace and quiet. I don't actually know IF my dad gave him much warning at all... but everything worked out.
The boys begged for a boat ride. (of course the boat hadn't been running yet this year) Dad and Brian, quickly and almost as excited as the little boys, started the boat and off we went.

After a great boat ride, hike and dinner  we then settled to sleep!

Thank you Brain, for all the hats you let the boys try on and for letting us whirlwind through your weekend!

Did I mention that not only were we moving across the country again, BUT I decided to drive it again...this time with 3 kids and because Jim quickly opted out, I then volunteered my dad to join me.
The trip was GREAT I really mean it, the boys were great at travelling, and we really had no issues with the car, ( except for when we lost cruise... but that wasn't till Winnipeg)
Had to stop for gas and of course when the boys spotted planes we had to check them out. Owen stopped to smell... I mean eat the flowers.

Just before we left Miramichi, our little Ethan turned 4! He is very interested in dinosaurs, so we had a dinosaur party. There was dino bowling, pin the tail on the dino and of course dino cake.. It was a great party.

Nanny and Grampy joined us, along with Ethan's friends Tess and Marcus.

Wow, it has been forever since I last updated our blog.. now in my defence we did move all the way across the country...again! Do we love moving? I'm not even sure of the answer myself. I do know it was an opportunity we couldn't pass up. We're  also very happy of course to be a  little closer to family especially with little cousins around!
This is Jim the weekend he accepted the job as toyota's service manager in Alberta. He got to meet our little  niece first!! Baby Tia!

We try to start out every Saturday with a great hike out at french fort cove.. This week we did our 45min hike twice as the boys ran the whole thing and were still asking for more!!

Our boys are huge fans of being outdoors, which is especially great right now living on 80 acres!

They love soccer, hiking, running, frisbee, bike riding , of course playing with their huge Tonka's in the dirt and sandbox.

As most of you know they received skates from Nanny and Grampy and since then the talk has been all about hockey. Yesterday Jim and I broke down and bought them each stick and ball...... Lets just say we didnt' see much of them except for when they need to eat!!

This is Tess or as Ethan calls her "Test." ( she never corrects him though ) These two cuties go to Sunday school together and Library time. At church they will walk up the aisle holding hands and if we don't sit close enough for them to realize the other is there, they will stand like little lost puppies searching for each other at the front of the sanctuary till they spot each other and can go downstairs hand in hand. They are best buds!

They are called " Speedy Petey Red!! We love that... I'm just in the process of becoming speedy..with my walker that is !!! By the time I meet you though, you'll need a pair of these just to get a cuddle out of me!!

Today Owen turned one!! (.. well when this picture was taken 6 days ago ... he did!!)

We went to the park enjoyed the swings and sunshine. Had breakfast just the 3 of us..( you got it no big brothers!!) Went for a beautiful walk downtown Halifax.. and really just enjoyed spending time with just baby owen!

He is and has been the most easy going, happy baby boy we have had. We can't believe you're one! We love you so much and look forward to seeing more of the little boy you are becoming...
